Me and my cat and my little bear,
Are kneeling for a bedtime prayer.
We're asking Jesus through his might,
To keep us safely through the night.
We ask for angels to come down,
Protecting everyone in town.
We pray that Dad and Mommy too,
Get peaceful sleep the whole night through.
We ask the Lord in Heaven above,
To touch my brother with His love,
And give him dreams that will be sweet,
And brand new stockings for his feet.
Then with a heart filled full of joy,
And hope that nothing could destroy,
We thank him for the blood he shed,
And quietly we go to bed.
