DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

THERE IS ONE GOD:Deuteronomy 4:35 and 39 , I Kings 8:60 , John 17:3.  He has revealed that he is the Creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 1) and the Redeemer of mankind as written in (John 3:16 and 1 John 3:16).  A close study of scripture will reveal to the honest seeker that the Godhead consists of three persons in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that they are co-equal, have attributes that can apply to deity only and work together in harmony in creation and the salvation of sinful mankind. 

Attributes of God: (Eternity - Deuteronomy 33:27,John 1:1 referring to Jesus and Hebrews 9:14)  Some other scriptures that pertain to the attributes of deity involving the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are: Genesis, Chapters 1 and 2, John 1:3-10 , Colossians 1:16-18 , Genesis 1:2 , Job 26:13 and 33:4 , Job 34:21 , I John 3:20 , John 16:30 , Colossians 2:3 , John 16:12-13 , I Corinthians 2:10-11 , Jeremiah 23:24 , Proverbs 15:3 , Matthew 28:20 , and Psalms 139:7-10.  Of the utmost importance is that Jesus is called God in Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1 and 14 

and in Hebrews 1:8 and the Holy Spirit is called God in Acts 5:3-4.  God is called Father in John 6:27 as well as I Peter 1:2.  Finally, since I 

am convinced that there is only one true God in the entire universe, I must believe that all other gods (little "g") are false gods and idols whose worship is condemned in scripture, and that those who profess them are being deceived or are willingly deceiving others into trusting in a god that has no power to deliver them from death and eternal judgment and damnation. There cannot be more than one true and living God. ( I John 5:20 )​

MAN  WAS CREATED SINLESS (Genesis 1:26 and 27) Adam and Eve were pure because they were formed in the "spiritual image" of God 

(see John 4:24).  Sin didn't exist and so they walked with God in the garden experiencing his loving presence without fear of any kind.  ADAM AND EVE DISOBEYED GOD AND LOST THIS PURITY (Genesis 3, the entire chapter tells the story). Eve sinned and then Adam sinned as 

well resulting in all mankind being born with a sinful nature. ​

​UNSAVED SINNERS ARE TO BE ETERNALLY DAMNED (Mark 16:16), ARE CONDEMNED ( John 3:18-19 ) AND WILL FINALLY BE CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE AS RECORDED IN (Revelation 20:11-15). There are many who would readily accept an eternal Heaven but who 

reject an eternal Lake of Fire, but it is totally out of touch with reality to try to say eternal when stating that Heaven is real and not stating the 

same about the lake of fire which is equally real. 

JESUS CAME TO DELIVER MEN FROM SIN, DEATH AND THE CURSE OF THE LAW --  ( John 3:16-17 , John 5:24 , Romans 5:8 , 

I Corinthians 15:3 , 2 Corinthians 5:18 and 19 , Galatians 3:13 , Titus 2:11-14 and Romans 1:16 ).  These are only a small sampling of 

the verses dealing with salvation that are found in the Bible. This fact coupled with three verses in scripture show that he not only came but 

he alone is the only way to salvation. 

REPENTANCE IS A REQUIREMENT FOR SALVATION -- ​​ 2 Corinthians 7:10, Matthew 9:13, Mark 1:4, Mark 1:14-15 (Jesus speaking), 

Luke 24:46-47, Acts 2:38 (Peter speaking), Acts 3:19 Acts 17:30 (Paul speaking), and 2 Peter 3:9 stating that God is not willing that any 

should perish but that all would come to repentance. This is not some mental gymnastic but a heart-felt sorrow for our sins against God and a broken spirit that cries out to God for forgiveness.  I believe with all my heart that if there is no sorrow for sin true repentance does not take place, and any salvation apart from genuine sorrow and repentance is not the salvation of scripture but a cheap and tawdry replacement that deludes people into believing they possess something they were never given.

EVERY PERSON WILL BE RESURRECTED AND LIVE FOREVER (Revelation 20:11-15) This portion of scripture speaks of the final judgment 

of all mankind. It is most commonly known as the White Throne Judgment.  It speaks of "A Book, and some books."  One book is the Lamb's Book of Life in which all the redeemed of all time are listed. The books are a list of all the unregenerate souls of all time, and I believe it could possibly list their sins as well because they are not forgiven as those of the people in "The Book" are.  In addition, scripture makes it clear that 

few find their way to salvation (even though God desires all to repent and be saved 2 Peter 3:9 and many will follow the way of destruction 

(or sin and damnation).  Also Revelation 21:8 . Matthew 7:13-14 makes this perfectly clear when it says "straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to eternal life, and few there be that find it."  These are the words of Jesus Christ.

This is what I believe. There are other things as well, but these are the most important in my estimation. To know God as Father, To know Jesus as Savior, and to know the Holy Spirit as guide transcends everything else in life. This is only possible to the believer through the blood shed 

by Jesus Christ on Calvary for their forgiveness and eternal salvation. ​​​​​​
