It has long been a grief to me that the body of Christ in this generation is living far below what God intends it to live! For the longest time I began to think it was me being self-righteous. and I prayed that God would show me if that was the case so I could repent of it and see things as they really were. Instead God showed me over and over again by many proofs that I was not being self-righteous at all or judgmental in my assessment. He verified it multiple times for me through various venues so that it is unmistakable. I was glad to be vindicated but sad for what had become of today's Christianity!

I began to see people writing articles and producing videos all over the internet speaking of the weak and powerless church in this generation. I saw many more articles dealing with certain so-called ministries that were fleecing the flock ofGod for materialistic gain.

I saw people who said they were Christians turn from sola scripture (scripture alone) to embrace ungodly and anti-biblical practices and teachings that would have been spurned long ago by the saints of old. Some of those Christians were standing against their brethren and declaring certain sinful actions to be acceptable and calling for tolerance for practices that would have shocked the Christian world in other decades.

Again, I watched as the government of this nation passed a law clearing the way for flagrant, open disobedience to God and his laws while many people who called themselves Christians did little, if anything, to stand against it. I was sure that at least some strong resistance would come because of the vital importance of the stability of marriage, but only a token resistance emerged and our own government established legislation 

to permit an abomination to be accepted across the land. I am not yet convinced that God has abandoned America but yet there seems to be no hope on the horizon for a return to biblical morality.

BUT OVER THE COURSE OF 42 YEARS OF SERVING THE LORD, I HAVE LEARNED

THAT MAN PROPOSES AND GOD DISPOSES.  IT IS NEVER SO DARK THAT DAWN 

DOESN'T COME, AND I KNOW WHEN THE ENEMY COMES IN LIKE A FLOOD THE 

SPIRIT OF THE LORD WILL RAISE UP A STANDARD AGAINST HIM.

To fear is to doubt, and whatsoever is not of faith is sin. It is long past time that we take up God's word and begin to act as if we believe it. Let's examine some of what God's Word says concerning the past and how men were used to overcome great adversity even unto death. A good jumping off point would be the story of Noah. One man and his wife and three sons and their wives against the rest of the world and their victory against overwhelming odds.
